The Field Notes
—
Branch Owls
On a particularly misty day in late autumn, as I strolled through the forest, I stumbled upon a peculiar creature nestled on the forest floor. It looked perfectly content, tucked between the fallen leaves as if wrapped in a blanket. To my surprise, I even spotted a Faery resting on its antlers—or perhaps "branchlers" might be a more fitting name?
I’ll keep observing, and I promise to share any new discoveries with you.
