HOw does
it work?

Step 1: the idea 


Together we will find out what kind of card it’s going to be. Ideas are more then welcome, this will make this painting unique to your family (magic included). In this case ‘Cobie’, the dog of the couple was the starting point.

Step 2: Line sketch

When the main idea is clear, I start sketching. I will send between 1 or 3 sketches to check if this is the right direction.

  • 1 revision is included

Stap 3: digital color sketch

If the rough sketch is in the right direction, I will send a fully coloured version to check in with you guys.

  • 1 revision (only colors) are included

Step 5: Painting

When the idea and the colors are right, I start with the real painting. Revisions aren’t possible in this phase due to the nature of watercolor (it’s kind of hard to erase!)

Step 6: Design Card

I place the final painting in the design, send the first draft and then we finish the last details like:

  • Font

  • Text (name, adress, tel. etc.)

  • Paper types

  • Color envelopes
